The RMP V3 is a modified Centralized Controller RMP with completely re-written firmware. Software that works with Centralized Controller platforms will not work with RMP V3 platforms, and vice versa.
The RMP V3 firmware has been designed from the ground up to be compatible with ROS, the Robot Operating System.
The ON/OFF toggle switch has been replaced with a pushbutton. Instead of cutting power immediately, the RMP sends a power down signal to any connected computers and waits 30 seconds before cutting power. This provides attached computers time to power down safely.
